Bob Carroll founded TelStrat in 1993 and has guided the company’s consistent growth and profitability since its inception.
Mr. Carroll began his career as an electrical engineer in 1971. In 1980, he joined Teknekron and served as its Director of Engineering. Mr. Carroll subsequently joined Intecom, also to serve as Director of Engineering, and in 1987, he founded and became CEO of Digital Techniques, a company that manufactured ancillary products for PBX telephone systems and voice recorder systems.
Mr. Carroll leverages almost 30 years of telecommunications experience to position TelStrat as a leading developer of access network equipment. As TelStrat’s CEO, Mr. Carroll continues to focus on growing the company and developing innovative telecom product lines. These product lines include the company’s Engage Contact Center Suite™ - an integrated, comprehensive solution for optimizing contact center operations, as well as PUMA™, a new line of products that enable wireless and wireline providers to monitor, control, and diagnose remote equipment installations.
Under Mr. Carroll’s leadership, TelStrat has received numerous industry awards, including Internet Telephony’s Product of the Year award, the INC 500 Award twice, the Dallas 100 Award five times, the Fast Tech 50 Award four times, and the Dallas Pacesetter Award three times. Mr. Carroll has twice been named a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program.
Mr. Carroll holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
