Darrell Roberts
Vice President of Technology

A ten year TelStrat veteran, Darrell Roberts serves as Vice President of Technology. In this role he oversees several functional areas of the organization, including all product development, technical support, and professional services teams.

With over 25 years of experience in software development and management in both start-up and large, established technology firms, Roberts brings a successful track record of developing and leading strong engineering teams and designing and bringing to market key elements of telecommunications technology. This includes sharing a critical patent for VoIP recording architecture.

Upon joining TelStrat, Roberts augmented the existing hardware, firmware, and verification test groups with a newly-assembled team dedicated to client/server software application development. In the years since, Roberts has led product development from initial architecture through release for all of TelStrat’s flagship products, including iDVR/CallParrot call recording and Telstrat’s latest Engage Contact Center Suite™ product line.

Prior to joining TelStrat, Roberts led networking product projects at Compaq Computer Corporation. Before that, he held senior engineering positions at several companies, including Harris-Adacom, as well as start-up firms Cygnus, where he developed x.25 packet switch technology and at NetSpan, where he led engineering efforts on router products.

Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
