Sid Schmid

As President of TelStrat's PUMA Products Group, Sid Schmid brings 30 years of engineering design and management excellence and a Marine Corps-instilled dedication to TelStrat. Mr. Schmid joined TelStrat in mid-2002 as Senior Director, Product Strategy and was promoted to his current role in Augest 2007.
Mr. Schmid's career encompasses successful tenures at several prominent telecommunications companies, including ADC Telecommunications, Reltec and Marconi. At these firms, he directed engineering and design efforts on everything from T1 test equipment to fiber optic multiplexers and SONET transport products. Prior to joining TelStrat, Mr. Schmid worked at Marconi, where he led international design teams as part of Marconi's Global System Design Authority.
